Considerando que a empresa denominada Madeireira Nova Brasnorte Eireli (CNPJ nº 18.987.554/0001-90) se encontra atualmente desativada e que durante fiscalização realizada não foram verificados indícios de funcionamento no ano corrente. Considerando o volume expressivo de créditos florestais fraudulentos movimentados pela empresa em questão no Sistema de Comercialização e Transporte de Produtos Florestais - SISFLORA. Considerando os indícios contundentes de que estas movimentações fraudulentas foram efetivadas para dissimular a origem de madeira explorada ilegalmente em áreas de Floresta Amazônica. Fica embargado o empreendimento especificado, sendo tal medida imprescindível para evitar a continuidade das atividades ilegais e prevenir a ocorrência de novas infrações. A medida está fundamentada nos seguintes dispositivos legais e regulamentares: Lei Federal nº 9.605, de 12 de Fevereiro de 1998, Art. 70, Parágrafo 1º, e o Art. 72, Inciso VII, Parágrafo 7º, e Decreto Federal nº 6.514, de 22 de Julho de 2008, Art. 3º, Inciso VII, Art. 101, Inciso II, Parágrafo 1º.
