How ready is Brazil’s export base for the EUDR?
The EU Deforestation Regulation applies from 30 December 2026 — 149 days away. Trase publishes zero-deforestation commitment assessments for individual exporters. Nobody publishes the aggregate, so we do, recomputed from their data rather than written by hand.
soy — 2,086 exporters
Trase has assessed 333 of them. Of those, 45 have a zero-deforestation commitment on record and 288 have none — meaning 86.5% of assessed soy exporters carry no commitment. The remaining 1,753 have no assessment either way.

- NONE — 288
- COMPANY COMMITMENT — 45

beef — 542 exporters
Trase has assessed 434 of them. Of those, 24 have a zero-deforestation commitment on record and 410 have none — meaning 94.5% of assessed beef exporters carry no commitment. The remaining 108 have no assessment either way.

Method, and how to cite this
Counts are over Trase’s exporter tier only. Trase also publishes a parent-group tier; including it would count a subsidiary and its group twice. Figures recompute automatically from the data, so this page does not go stale between Trase releases.
A commitment on record is not compliance, and exposure is modelled association rather than observed clearing — see any exporter profile for the per-company detail, and what the EUDR requires for the obligation itself.
