Lista Suja — Brazil’s forced-labour registry, searchable
Brazil’s Cadastro de Empregadores — employers found by labour inspectors to have subjected workers to conditions analogous to slavery. The Ministry of Labour publishes it as a bulk file with no per-company page; this is the same register, searchable, with the date we first saw each entry.
How to read this, and what we leave out
We publish businesses, not individuals. 341 of the 507 current entries are natural persons identified by CPF rather than registered businesses. They are counted in the totals above, because leaving them out would misrepresent the size of the register — but we do not republish their names or their tax numbers. The official source remains public for anyone who needs it.
What a listing does not prove: Inclusion is administrative, not a criminal conviction. Entries can be suspended by court injunction and removed after two years of compliance. Absence from the list is not evidence that no violation occurred — only that none has been finalised through this process.
This page is a republication of an official public register, with provenance and dates attached. It is not an accusation by us, not legal advice, and not a compliance attestation. If you believe an entry here is wrong or out of date, tell us at [email protected] and check the official source below.
